Designed as a platform for students to actively engage in academic publishing, GMSJ provides valuable experience in research dissemination, peer review, and scholarly writing—skills essential for careers in academic medicine.

GMSJ publishes original research, case reports, reviews, opinion pieces, and more, fostering professional growth and the development of critical appraisal and editorial skills. Each submission undergoes a three-stage review process, with medical students conducting primary and secondary reviews, followed by a final faculty review by attending physicians, PhDs, and residents to uphold academic integrity.
